If there was a way...

Standing behind the young olive tree
I see the sun slowly dive deep in a sea of orange

If there was a way to wave goodbye to the summer,
this is what it would look like

Sometimes summer feels like winter

Umberto Eco once said that there are no news in August, referring to and describing obviously the situation in Italy.
Well, there's not much difference in Greece, considering the similarity of the Mediterranean climate, the heat of the
month and the fact that August is the peak of the holiday season for the Greeks.

There's not much really going on at the moment. Everything feels stagnant, motionless, repetitive. It gives me the
impression of that cold long, snowy winters in Berlin, right at that very moment when you've lost all hope that spring
will come eventually and the sun will finally warm up the air the the ground.

Sometimes summer in Athens feels like winter in Berlin...

Sometimes it's hot outside, but the heart hibernates...

Το κουνέλι Νέλη [Nely Bunny]

First time I get to take care of a bunny.
It's the softest little thing ever to have caressed.
Sometimes it can surprise you with a tiny bite
which however never leaves marks or pain,
it's slightly more intense than a fish bite (ever got bitten by a fishy?)

People hear, I officially love bunnies!

Seagulls

Mornings in Istanbul it was such a joy to share breakfast with the seagulls
